View the UCEAP Participants portal for your program's Pre-Departure Checklist (PDC) that contains important information and deadlines. You will be able to find tabs on travel requirements, money matters, insurance, calendars, policies, and petition information.

UCEAP Health Clearance. All students must complete the health clearance process in order to study abroad. Please read the instructions VERY carefully.

Things to review before you go:

1. Review the EAP-Gaucho Health Insurance webpage to determine if this is applicable to you and to learn more about the payment process

2. Complete a Power of Attorney form (recommended)

        a) Allows you to designate someone to oversee your finances while abroad
3.  Read the Health and Safety Tips for Studying Abroad

        a) Review the Department of State website specifically for students traveling abroad
        b) UCEAP Safety Tips 

4. Remember to do these before you go:

        a) Photocopy/scan important travel documents (passport copy) in case if you lose them.
        b) Notify your bank and credit card company of your travel plans and make sure you will have access to your
            account(s) from abroad.
        c) Change local address to permanent address in GOLD and MyEAP (2019-20 programs) / UCEAP Portal (2020-21 programs).
        d) Make sure you don't have a balance in your BARC account.
