Student Health now has 24/7 phone service to enable students to speak with Registered Nurses about any concerns or questions needing medical attention. Students can access the nurses through an option on our regular SHS phones, or by calling directly to 800-539-1387.  The service is open to any student who calls, regardless of whether they are insured by UC SHIP or not.

There are three after-hours phone lines that students can use to access professional help 24 hours daily: SHS’s Nurseline at 800-539-1387, CAPS 24/7 Counseling at 805-893-4411, and CARE Confidential Advocacy for Sexual Violence at 805-893-4613.
