Greetings from the UCSB EAP Campus Office!

You are probably excited about your upcoming departure to the United States and your upcoming academic year! We are your first point of contact here at UCSB, and we look forward to meeting you!

Please see below for your UCSB EAP Coordinator's contact information according to your last name. (If it is urgent, you can meet with either coordinator):

  • Ms Genesis Herrera (last names A-L): genesis@eap.ucsb.edu, +1 805-893-5735. Drop in hours: Mondays 1:30-3:30pm, Tuesdays 1:30-3:30pm, Thursdays 10am-noon in South Hall 2431.
  • Ms Adrienne Sifontes (last names M-Z): adrienne@eap.ucsb.edu, +1 805-893-5662. Drop in hours: Mondays 10am-noon, Tuesdays 1:30-3:30pm, Thursdays 1:30-3:30pm in South Hall 2431.

A few friendly reminders for once you arrive on campus:

  • For questions on UCSB-related matters such as course enrollment, BARC, campus involvement, academic and personal support, come to the EAP Office in 2431 South Hall. You can have these questions answered by our Peer Advisors Monday-Thursday 9:30am-4pm and Friday 9:30am-2pm. If you neet to speak with Genesis or Adrienne about a specific problem, please come during their drop in hours (listed above), or email them to schedule an appointment.
  • For questions about your DS-2019, visa, travel signature, or immigration realated matters, please contact the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) in the Student Resource Building room 3130. They are open Monday-Friday 10am-12 and 1-4pm. Call 805-893-2929 to make an appointment, or attend their drop in hours on Wednesday from 10am-12 and 1-4pm.   • As soon as you arrive update your current living address and phone number on GOLD. You are required to do this everytime you move to a new address here in the US.
