EAP serves as UCSB’s gateway to the world, providing access to experiences and ideas that empower its students to become future leaders at home and abroad.
Our Vision
As the premier integrated agency for providing UCSB students affordable access to study abroad programs, research, internships and volunteer opportunities, EAP strives to help UCSB become a truly globalized university. We are committed to:

Integrating courses taken abroad to meet degree requirements

Assuring that underrepresented students and STEM majors participate in numbers matching or exceeding percentages they hold on campus

Increasing overall student annual participation to at least 10% of undergraduates by 2024-25

Enhancing opportunities for departmental and faculty engagement with EAP

Working with alumni and non-profit foundations to reach an annual funding goal of at least $500,000 for scholarships by 2024-25
