General Education

Many students fulfill General Education (GE) requirements abroad.  If you plan to do so, you should:

  • Meet with a College advisor to review your plans.
    • College of Letters & Science
    • College of Engineering
    • College of Creative Studies
  • Refer to the "UCSB General Education Program Outcomes and Transfer Guide" linked here.

  • Review Gaucho Credit Abroad for GEs taken by UCSB students on UCEAP.  This is a historical database, not a list of pre-approved courses.
