Research

Conducting research abroad is an invaluable experience for UCEAP participants and serves as an additional academic achievement for graduate school and other future endeavors.  STEM students can immerse themselves in an international lab group.  Social science and humanities students can work closely with faculty abroad and incorporate sources into their projects.

Built-In Research Experiences
Receive academic credit for research experiences incorporated into your UCEAP program.  The research process and details vary by program.

Secure Your Own Research Experiences
Many UCEAP programs allow students to conduct research, in addition to their coursework, and provide them with the option to receive academic credit, if desired.  In these cases, students are responsible for finding their own research placements.  Generally, programs that offer this optional research opportunity will state this in the "Academics" section of the UCEAP program pages.
